I closed on a 6-unit multifamily last week and next week, I should be closing on my first 16-unit multi-family in Canton. Being part of Josh’s mastermind group has been a tremendous advantage in getting these deals.

I’ve been in Josh’s program for about four years. We’ve raised about four and a half million dollars in private equity. We have 175 doors. We’ve pretty much pivoted our residential business into small multifamily and residential assisted living.

When I saw what Josh was doing and the financial end of the analysis, that really appealed to me because creating equity in the long run is what it is all about.

I have raised about eight hundred thousand in private money. I own about 40 units in single family, 220 self storage and forty-eight in multifamily. The stakes are very expensive. It’s nice to have partners in this business that can help you answer questions that you don’t have the answers for.

I am a passive investor. I’ve invested six hundred thousand and my goal is to become an active investor and to partner with some of the folks here that I meet this week.

I think that it is one of the best ways to accelerate wealth generation.

My goal is to raise more money, do more deals and get to a few hundred units.

We’ve been active and passive investors in real estate for over forty years so we’ve done thousands of deals. We’re really here to focus on apartments and bigger deals.

It’s like “oh my gosh”, he’s got it all figured out. He has a formula for everything and everything is so fail safe. I feel so safe. I think that’s one of the biggest things I’ve taken away from this. I feel like now I am not afraid to do this kind of work. And I’m excited. I am excited being here this weekend and I’m excited about the things I’m learning. It’s been really good.
